Earlham is an inviting community that provides the benefits of a small town with all the

Students are welcome to open-enroll at Earlham Schools.
-If you are new to the district, or if you have child ready to start Preschool or
Kindergarten -Please contact the District Office at 515-758-2214 with any questions about 
starting the enrollment process.

Business Hours are 7:30 to 4:00 pm M-Th and 7:30 to 3:30 pm on Friday.

With a population of about 1,450, Earlham offers its residents a small town feel and lower cost of living than larger neighboring cities, while having the convenience of a quick, 20-minute commute to West Des Moines.

Earlham Schools offer a wide variety of clubs and organizations to meet the needs of our student body. Earlham K-12 students benefit from excellent sports facilities including an all-weather track, turf stadium, a nearly complete state-of-the art competition gym with seating for nearly 1,000 people. Earlham has a complete auditorium for performing arts and a growing music program. Our annual progress report summarizes academic achievements and extracurricular highlights from the previous school year, as well as outlines our current goals.

PEANUT AWARE School For the safety of our students with severe allergies, peanuts, peanut butter and tree nuts are not allowed in our schools and concession stands. School breakfasts and lunches will not produce or sell any food that contains peanuts, peanut butter or tree nuts. Homemade treats will also not be allowed in classrooms for birthdays or holidays.
