PowerSchool is the student information system (SIS) for Earlham CSD and contains all student information, grade and attendance data. Students and parents/guardians may view grades, scores, schedules, lunch balances and pay fees in PowerSchool. After creating an account, parents can log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal at earlham.powerschool.com/public or through the PowerSchool App.

Schoology is our learning management system (LMS) that enables our students, parents/guardians and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school groups. With Schoology, students may view course materials, submit homework assignments, review feedback, participate in discussions, receive announcements, take assessments, and more. Parents/guardians may view their students’ courses within Schoology to learn more about assignments, due dates and other important class information.  Groups may be utilized by teachers or coaches to share information with clubs, teams, or committee work as well. After creating an account, parents will log into Schoology at https://app.schoology.com/login or using the Schoology App.

Getting Started With PowerSchool (No Current Parent Account)

Follow the instructions below for creating a parent/guardian account for PowerSchool.

  1. In your web browser, navigate to https://earlham.powerschool.com/public

  2. Select Don’t have an account yet? Click Here

  3. Enter your information. Use the descriptions below if you need additional explanation.

Description

First Name

Enter your first name.

Last Name

Enter your last name.

Email

Enter your email address. The email address you enter will be used to send you select information, as well as account recovery.

Desired Username

Enter a username you would like to use when logging into PowerSchool (not your email). The username must be unique from all others usernames in the district.

Password

Enter the password you would like to use when logging into the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The password must be a minimum of 6 characters.

  1. Link your student(s) to your PowerSchool account by entering their Access ID and Access Password.  This information was sent via a separate email from [email protected] early in August 2022.  Use the descriptions below if you need additional help.

Student Name

Enter the name of the student you want to add to your account.

Access ID

Enter the unique Access ID for the student

Access Password

Enter the unique Access Password for the student. Please note that the Access Password is case sensitive.

Relationship

Select your relationship to your student from the drop-down menu.

 

5.When you are finished, select Create Account.

Already have an ECSD PowerSchool Account?

  1. In your web browser, navigate to https://earlham.powerschool.com/public

  2. Sign in with your existing account credentials.

    1. Use the “Forgot Password” link if necessary to reset your password.

    2. Credentials were sent in a separate email from [email protected] early in August 2022.

  3. You can add new students to your existing PowerSchool account by clicking on Account Preferences in PowerSchool. You will need an Access ID and Access Password for each new studentThis information was sent via a separate email from [email protected] early in  August 2022.

 

PowerSchool Email Notifications Page

The PowerSchool Email Notifications page allows you to manage your parent/guardian account email preferences, including what information you would like to receive, how often you would like to receive the information, and any additional email addresses that you would like the information sent to. Email preferences may be applied to a single student or all students associated with your parent/guardian account.


Schoology Account Creation

By creating a Schoology account, you will be able to view your  student’s courses within Schoology to learn more about assignments, due dates and other important class information.  This is a separate log in from your PowerSchool Parent Portal. 

 

Follow the instructions below for creating a parent/guardian account for Schoology. 

  1. In your web browser, navigate to http://app.schoology.com/register.php

  2. Select the gray “parent” box.

  3. Enter the Access Code for your student. Select Continue.

  4. Fill out the form with your parent  information. Select Register to complete the process.

Your student’s access credentials were sent in an email from the school on August 10, 2022. If you need this code again, please contact the District Office.



Note: If you are connecting multiple students to your parent account, you can enter the access codes while logged into your Schoology account. Select the downfacing arrow next to the name in the top right corner. Select Add Child. Enter the Schoology Code. Select the Use Code

button to complete.
